Welcome to the 2015-2016 CSA! A big thank you to all of our 70+ members for signing up and supporting our hard work. Growing food isn't easy, especially on a small scale and organic, but we love our job and we're inspired by the beauty and wonder of nature everyday. We put our sweat, tears and joy into the veggies you'll be eating this season and we hope you'll enjoy every bite. As you know, the weather is unpredictable and it seems to be getting more so every year. Last weekend we had an unseasonable rain storm which brought over 5 inches of water upon the fields resulting in a little bit of damage, but nothing a few days of Miami sunshine can't fix. Everything seems to be on track for the first few shares of the season.
Every week we'll be posting a new list of what is in the shares and we'll send you an email reminder about it. We've created a page for each of the items with lots of interesting information about how we grow that crop, which varieties we like, recipes and cooking inspiration links. You can click on each of the items in the list below to see those pages. Hopefully all of this info will help you get through your veggies because we know that often it can be hard to get inspired to cook at home. Even worse, we know it doesn't feel good to through food away. See you on Saturday!
