Little River Nursery
Our Donation Program

We Donate All Unused Plants to Community Partners

How To Receive Donations

Over the last decade of operating our business we have donated hundreds of thousands of plants to local non-profits growing food and educating the community. We run a donation program to make plants that are aging out of our nursery available to those who can use them in public facing plant projects. If you are interested in plants for use in your non-profit educational garden please email our plant advocate Sol to be added to our weekly availability list. We do not require you to be a formal non-profit to participate however you must be growing plants in an educational space that is open to the public and not charging an entrance fee, or be a public school garden. We prioritize projects in underserved communities and projects led by the community they serve.
