So you'd like to grow your own tomatoes?! Tomatoes are one of the most popular crops for home gardeners but they can also be quite challenging to grow, especially in our climate. We start selling tomato seedlings in fall and we keep selling them every week through February. Despite being heat loving crops, tomato plants don't love the rain and humidity so make sure you prioritize them in your Fall planting.

Our most popular varieties are Sungold cherry, Tidy Treats dwarf cherry, and our collection of humidity loving standard red slicers. If you are growing in containers or in a small space, consider choosing "determinate" types over "indeterminate".

All of our plants are grown in OMRI certified Organic materials (potting mix, fertilizer, seeds, etc.) and include Organic granular fertilizer, living locally-made compost, and have been cared for with healthy microorganisms from compost tea and microbial inoculants. We only use organic pesticides when needed. We only stock varieties that we have experience growing and that are season and climate appropriate for South Florida. Our curated inventory is simple enough for a beginner and interesting enough to keep an advanced gardeners attention, with new and rare varieties being added weekly.
